Pros: I really like these Rockchip players. I bought an 8gb several years ago and love it! But I wanted to upgrade and get 16gb and a camera. This player offers a huge memory, plays videos well, sound quality is very good (with good quality heaphones), and videos are OK for the size. Battery power is good. This player offers a lot of options in a small package for a small price.
Cons: Hardware: A good machine overall, but a few small inconveniences. 1) The highest volume is still not very loud. It is good in most situations, but I wish it were a little bit louder when i'm riding the trains. 2) The machine freezes sometimes, and won't start. It can be fied quickly by pushing the "reset" button with a pencil, but my old rockchip player only froze 3 times in 4 years, my new one, maybe 4 timrs in a month.

Software: This moachine offers more reathures than my old player, but it is almost a little too complicated. The old player played music tracks directly from the list in the memory, whether they were loose files or folders, but the new player creates playlists and breaks the music into different categories, like "Current", "Artist," "Album," etc. You may find one file you've loaded to the player appearing in different albums, or under different artists. If you chose to play music by pressing the foles button nad then playing them, it won't advance to the next track.
Other: It might take you a little while to figure out how to use all the features, or even how to find them on the touch screen, but once you do, you'll be happy with this player.
Bottomline: It has a few faults, but I'm very pleased with this player, and I expect to get a couple of years of good service from it. Once you get the hang of how to use it, it's pretty reliable and does a good job.
