Focus on Paris Fashion Show

If you are a fashionista, you won’t let go of Paris Fashion Show. However, not everyone have the chance to attend it. But we can still enjoy the classic fashion through media reports in time. Now we will focus on the latest three days of Paris Fashion Show.

Celine headlined March 3rd’s show schedule. Phoebe Philo will offer more of the pared-down elegant femininity that has garnered such a widespread following over the past few years, while Bill Gaytten - who remains at the helm of John Galliano - is expected to develop his toned-down approach to the label's signature romantic drama.

At Saturday night at Paris Fashion Week, French fashion's 60-year-old enfant terrible Jean Paul Gaultier was hoping for a reboot with a new show venue (a theater instead of his headquarters) and a new investor (Puig) when he showed his fall 2013 collection. It is verdict that while Gaultier succeeded in updating several of his signatures from the 1980s and '90s and making them more palatable for today, he didn't register any connection to the grittiness of the street, which is what earned him the "enfant terrible" moniker in the first place.

Raf Simons's latest collection for Dior, which walked in Parison on March 1, was far more experimental than his previous ones. In fact, it got pretty weird. Simons has now firmly established himself at the house, and has more room to play. It's as though his elegant, restrained woman of seasons past had some wine, smoked some weed, and let her (naturally air-dried) hair down a bit. And to her we say: Happy Friday!
