I know that the latest versions of these smartphones come with Android 2.3.5

Только сейчас проверил. Оказывается прилагаемая гарнитура не имеет микрофона, т.е. говорить нужно непосредственно в микрофон телефона, при чем слышимость почему-то очень и очень низкая.
на гарнитуре есть отверстие, предполагаю там микрофон, но не работает.
Так как у меня два таких телефона, проверял на двух.

Не ругайте телефон, там нет проблем, она есть в самой политике компании skype.
Видео звонки работать скорее всего не будут, даже с помощью патченных версий. Возможно с выходом новых версий skype или достижении договоренности между производителем телефона и компанией skype возможность виде звонков появится.
Все остальные функции skype будут работать.
Тем не менее есть другие варианты в которых видео вызов работает, например ooVoo или tango.
Всё остальное вызывает уважение, нет никаких пре
тензий к качеству сборки. Все отлично. Об этом я писал в другом своем обзоре который вы можете прочитать здесь.
